Canada Kids Film Festival announces 2027 dates
The festival returns to Toronto from September 24 to October 3, 2027, with free submissions now open.
TORONTO: The Canada Kids Film Festival (CKFF), a national and international festival dedicated to showcasing the best in children's cinema, will return from September 24 to October 3, 2027.
The festival presents films about children, for children and made by children across five sections: National, International, Indigenous, Made by Kids, and World Focus, which each year celebrates one guest country's history of children's cinema.
Submissions are open now and free in every category. Winners receive the CKFF Medal, custom-made each year, along with possible sponsor prizes including filmmaking grants, mentorship programs and distribution opportunities.
